About

I’m a born-and-raised Kansas girl who’s always had a heart for the city. I’m an alumni of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri where I received my Associate of Arts degree in Christian Ministry and where God gave me a heart for ministry. I met the love of my life when I was fifteen years old in our high school band practice room and we have been doing life together ever since. I’m a dog-mom to our boxer, Drake, and when I’m not spending time with my boys I enjoy reading, writing, attempting Pinterest crafts, and pretending like I’m a professional chef.

Following Jesus is the best decision I have ever made, and I want to use my passions for empowering women and young girls and for discipleship to serve Him and to show others the immense love and grace that He has shown me. The title of this blog, “By Grace Through Faith,” is inspired from one of my favorite passages of scripture, Ephesians 2.1-10. Within this passage Paul writes, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” The fact that God has given us the free gift of His grace out of His unconditional love for us has been a life-changing truth that has transformed my way of thinking and living. These elements of grace and faith have shown up in big and small ways throughout my entire life, and I am so excited to share those stories (and the stories to come) with you through this blog!
